I plowed through the first two books and now I cannot wait to get my hands on the third, which is sadly the conclusion for this series: But thats how I felt.
There are more versions? Intertwined takes a spin on all books intetrwined o One word. I mean, yeah i know poor guy thinks he knows her and blah blah, but come on! This book though didn’t approach the complex story the same way, which surprises me. It starts out wonderfully; instantly pulling you into the book.
I am excited about the sequel, I just really hope that she focuses more on the main plot about the souls and less on the war of attractive beasts. The reason I liked this book so much was for the Riley x Mary Ann. Yes Recommend Maybe Book Boyfriend: He’s shkwalter to do well in school.
Even her name grates on my nerves no offense to any Mary Anns out there, it is just the way she is portrayed. This couldn’t be real. Dear Readers, Have you ever read a book that you were so wrapped up in, so completely involved with, that by the time you finished it you had no idea what the heck your feelings are?
So much happens that left my head spinning with all sorts of possibilities. Mary Ann the “neutralizer” is way to immature.
He just doesn’t know the when. But now that Aden is going to her school, the strangest things begin to happen. Not only does Aden have to pretend he is normal and watch over his shoulder from the other delinquent foster kids he lives with, a vampire princess wants to be friends with him. I wish there was more about them and it doesn’t sound like they’ll be in the next book as much, but I hope I’m wrong Makes things tricky when he’s around others and the souls are wanting answers.
I was so excited going into this one and I was glad that I stayed that way the entirety of this book. Within the first couple chapters there was foreshadowing, red herrings, background stories, and multiple subplots. But this one BEAT the first! Feb 19, Mlpmom Book Reviewer added it Shelves: Showalter has the unfortunate penchant of telling, not showing, and making her characters take agonizingly slow paragraphs to undergo a simple thinking process.
Although this book was not one I can say I couldn’t put down it still kept my interest.
The result being that Aden is now a vampire while Victoria is human and has Caleb, Elijah and Julian in her head. Riley and Mary Ann’s relationship seems more natural and normal with their obvious differences in personality, upbringing and how they view each other. The beginning started out great actually. This is the story of Aden, a not so normal teenager. So, go buy it! Now, the only reasons why I am going to read the next book is because I am dying to know what will happen to the rest of the souls inside Aden.
Unraveled is a ride. I was so sure of it. This isn’t a gripe intertwjned this book in particular, just the massive amounts of fantasy novels that seem to rely on the same formula. The main character I didn’t even bother to remember his name is in love with some chick he keeps seeing in one of his soul’s visions ooh, I’m gonna attack that issue here in a minuteand he’s never even met her. I started reading it and got about half way.
Showalter would have used this plot for I dunno the whole book series not killing Aden off until the final moments of the novel. I am I found Showaler to drag a bit compared to the awesomeness of Intertwined. All of that is about to change, however. Not to mention the goblins, witches, and fairies he encounters.
I think it would have been better if Gena stuck to one focus, such as Aden and showalher voices and try to figure out what the deal is with Mary Ann. Then there is Victoria the token vampire princess and Riley her werewolf bodyguard.

So, his story is wrapped around trying to figure out how to free the souls before he dies, which will be soon since one of the souls can predict another intertiwned death and has shown Aden’s his own.
Some of the characters just didn’t work for me. Riley’s overprotectiveness was what attracted me to him in the first place, but in this book it just seemed kind of.
